Mother n Child an event extraordinaire, the event went on
stage with resounding, foot stomping music and accolades
galore on the 23rd October 05 at Manik Sabha Griha (Bandra
Performances were simply breathtaking and the coordination
between mother n child had the audiences wonder whether
they were am ateurs
or professionals. The Mother n Child jingle had not only
every child and mother humming between performances and
breaks and leaving when the curtains were drawn did pull a
tug on every child’s heart.
Our Celebrity guests were Miss Shilpa Kadam from the famed
serial ‘Sanjeevani watched the event with a twinkle in her
eyes. Mr. Sunil Pal the winner of ‘The Great Indian
laughter’ was invited to give a way
the prizes but ended up giving us one of his scintillating
performances. Walusha Robinson (wife of Marc Robinson)
along with their daughter not only made heads turn with
their looks but looked transfixed at the event, secretly
wishing they had taking part in this event. Renowned
writer of Balaji Telefilms - Anil Nagpal (writer of Kyon
ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi) stated that this kind of an
event concept should be nominated for the awa rd
function. The entire event was anchored by Shilpa Singh
(well known model and actress) and Suhani.
Last but not the least we had Gauri Tonk who acted in the
serial ‘Kahin Kissi Roz’ who distributed the prizes with a
very gleeful and spirited heart. Our panel of Judges were
Dr. Vinay Jain (proprietor of Witty Kids), Mrs. Lalwani
(proprietor of Little Kangaroos), Mrs. Ruchi Sabarwal
(Principal of Junior Crafting) and Mrs Geeta Nirupam (film
journalist and wife of Mr. Sanjay Nirupam – Congress
spokesperson).
